Only admin creates download link

    When Im logged in as admin Im able to add product to cart and make a purchase and get the download link immediately. Nobody else gets the download link even thogh they are able to make the purchase.
    When I look at the order details in woocommerce panel there are no downloadable products assigned to the orders of the guests but there are on admin orders.

    For downloadable product I use redirect option to .html file which uses php script to get 4 digit access code that is generated as file and downloaded automatically. Link below:

    I already tried completely removing Woocommerce from wordpress with adding the define( ‘WC_REMOVE_ALL_DATA’, true ); line to wp-config.php file but that did not help.

    Is this a bug or is this something else? Is it possible to make this work?

    Tried re-installing the woocommerce again. Still the same problem. If I make a purchase logged in as wp-admin I get the link. If Im not logged in and try to make the order as customer Im able to make the purchase but I dont get the link in confirmation page or in the email.

    Hi there!

    I tried testing the above scenario and the files were downloadable.

    May I know if the Redirect only mode works on your end if you take the custom part out of the current scenario?

    I never got this working when using the redirect to website link option on downloadable product. Only Administrator was able to get the link after purchase. I had to use several weeks to re-design the system. Now there is no links and customer gets the access code directly to email after purchase. In our case I still would have preferred the download link option but now it´s too late.
