One post completely disappeared

I had a post up for 5 days, 2 comments on it, and one day I went to edit it, and it was gone. No longer did it exist. The only thing left from it was the photos in the media browser and the 2 comments…that attached themselves to a draft post about something completely different. When I published the draft post, the attached comments are still there for the missing blog post. Can someone else besides me erase blog posts? I had one person mad at me for something I said in the blog post and they said “ha. Now I know how to get rid of blog posts….” I don’t know what they did, if anything.
