Odd comments problem

I’m fighting with getting my design working in both Firefox and IE at the moment (the xhtml and css validate, and it displays nearly fine in Firefox, but is a mess in IE). But one thing that’s happened somewhere along the line (I’m not sure where, as I haven’t been checking how the comments were working all day), is that in Firefox, you can’t click anywhere in the text input boxes in the comments. There’s an invisible line created by something, that means you can click on them on the far right. The submit button falls within the invisible unclickable region, so comments can only be submitted by tabbing to submit.

However, this problem doesn’t occur for any of the comments with a (more) section above them, or in IE. If someone could point me in the right direction about what might be causing this odd behaviour, that would be great 🙂
