Odd behavior and workflow

    I’ve written about this before, but want to confirm that this is the expected behavior which, if so, is very odd and very confusing for new members of my directory.

    I am using the Claim Listing extension.

    When someone creates a brand new listing (i.e. not claiming an existing listing), they are prompted to ‘claim’ the brand new listing they just created. The user finds this confusing. Also, since I have to approve listings before they get published, I am forced to take the extra step of going to the Claim Listing screen to ‘Approve’ the ‘claimed’ listing even though I have marked the listing as Claimed when I approved it for publishing from the All Listings screen.

    Is this the expected behavior? If so, this is very clumsy.

    Yes, we did. I still think this is confusing, but I’m told that is the way it is supposed to work. However, one other thing, when I as admin receive the ‘Claim’ emails, I always get it twice.
