Notifications sent on draft post | WordPress.org

Hello,
I am using Subscribe2 Version 10.17.2 on a client’s site (WordPress 4.0), and Subscribe2 sent a notification email for their latest post (Nov. 19) when they saved it as a draft then sent a notification AGAIN when they published the post. Please advise.

@matt,

Subscribe2 uses the WordPress post transition hooks to trigger emails so the code only executes if the post status changes.

It may be that another plugin changes the post status on draft save and then reverts it to draft again so check for plugin configurations. Other than that I can only presume some user error.
