This has been asked a couple of times and the ability to send notifications to the original author as opposed to users or user roles is coming in the next version. Due out soon.

Is this function in by now? I’m looking for that, as my users do not seem very interested in sharing their IP-adrdress with everyone, and the standard notification e-mail does just that…

If you’re still having trouble seeing it, please make sure you’re using the latest version of WordPress, the latest version of the plugin and are trying to send a notification that supports the ‘Author-only’ feature.
