    Hi,

I have been experiencing this issue for the past couple of months. I applied the changes mentioned above, but I am still not receiving notification emails when someone submits the form.

I have added four different email addresses and enabled AJAX, but notifications are still not coming through.

Additionally, my website runs on HTTPS, yet your system indicates that it is not secure. I’m not sure whether this is related to the issue, but I wanted to flag it in case it helps with troubleshooting.

Could you please assist in resolving this?

    Thank you,
    David

    Hi @blueboxelephant,

Additionally, my website runs on HTTPS, yet your system indicates that it is not secure. I’m not sure whether this is related to the issue, but I wanted to flag it in case it helps with troubleshooting.

Could you please check under Settings > General in your WP dashboard and see if the “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” start with https instead of http?

The issue with emails sounds like a different issue. In general, it’s your WP site that sends the email, and Forminator only initiates the action of sending the email.

Could you please confirm whether email notifications in general work fine on your website? You can use the following plugin to check that:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/

The above plugin helps with sending test emails from your website. If that works and emails do get sent then you can enable the Email Logging feature in the above plugin and then try to submit the form and see whether the emails get logged or not and whether there is any error picked in the logs.

If the email do get logged it would point that the emails did get sent from the WP Site.

Could you please check and let us know how that goes?

If the emails are picked in the Email Log plugin, then it would mean that emails are getting sent but it isn’t reaching the destination.

In that case, you could check with your Hosting provider or SMTP settings to confirm if there isn’t any issue with the Email server.

If you don’t have an SMTP you could also use an SMTP plugin to ensure the emails reach the destination without any issues. You can refer the following about setting up SMTP:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/branda/#smtp

Please do let us know how that goes.

    Regards,

    Nithin
