Not working

Hi there,

After I updated the plug-in, my website is not working
Now I deactivated it to stay my website loaded

the error is
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home1/styleau/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-file-manager/file_folder_manager.php on line 1309

do you have any idea how to fix it?
I tried to download to lower version, however, it cant install….
