    Hi

This is the ONLY plugin I could find which was free and worked with Woocommerce.

I am using the latest version of wordpress. I am running a theme bought from themeforrest.

http://www.bilverdy.dk is my site. Under shop you see a ebook i put there for testing purpose, but no watermarks unfortunetly.

Under settings i did not specify any id for the PDFs so it should just apply for all of them right?

    Please advice
    /Hamid

    Hi Hamid,

I’m sorry, but you just have not given us enough information to be able to help you. What version WaterWoo are you using? What error messages are you getting? Are your PDFs version 1.5 or older (the free version will not work on PDF 1.6 and 1.7 as stated)? Are your PDFs unencrypted? Does your watermark include special characters (watermarking in other languages)?

So I assume you checked the box that says “Check to enable PDF watermarking”

Leaving the box blank below that will attempt to watermark ALL PDFs sold through WooCommerce, assuming they are watermarkable.

    Thanks for more information!

I downloaded the plugin from here so i assume i have the latest version.

I am not getting any error messages, the watermarks are simply not there.

Yes i have the checkbox on. I have not setup any special characters or anything.

How can i see which version my pdf are??

Are you using WooCommerce to sell your PDFs?

OK, seem to have answered my own question. Please send screenshots of your WaterWoo settings and make sure your PDF is version 1.5 or older (I’m sure you can Google how to do this if you can’t figure it out with your PDF editor yourself looking for PDF info).

    Ok

As you see from screenshots the PDF file in question is a version 1.5 and the only things i have done in the settings tab is just enabled checkbox.

Gah, OK, so your PDF is 1.5, and needs to be 1.4 or older (sorry, I kept writing 1.5 but I’ve got a lot on my mind). That’s one place to start. After that you need to run me through what is happening. How is your PDF product set up? You check out using WooCommerce, click on the download link, and what happens? A PDF downloads, but isn’t watermarked?

Ok so I down convertet the PDF version to 1.4.
I have setup a paypal sandbox enviroment so i do not pay real money.

I have now tested 3 times, and the download comes without any watermarks… The product is setuo as a normal downloadble file… Yes i check out using woocommerce. Download the file, but no watermarks…

The file it self is a simple free one i got from the internet.

Please see if it is something with the file it self.

Ok. I am looking forward to this

Your PDF page is 6.72 inches (170mm) in height. Your Y fine tuning is set at 270mm.

Of course the watermark is not on the page. Set your Y fine tuning so that it is smaller than the page height. 🙂

I have adobe acrobat, I am trying go make a google search for how to change those dimensions.

    No luck so far…

where do you see the y fine tuning is set to 270 mm??

    (@littlepackage)

In the screenshot you sent me of your WaterWoo settings, you’ve set your fine tune to 270. Set it to <170 (recommend extra room for line height, like 150) and try again.

    Does this solve your problem?

No.It comes up with this error message when i try to download it. I only changed the y fine tuning to 165.
