Some of the widgets before this were consuming lots of resources and cause overload. I removed the troublesome ones and kept 3 running. When tried to save new widget it goes into spin endlessly.Closing a look at the site main page the widget was not there. How to fix this?

Could be a plugin conflict. Try disabling all your plugins and then try to save. If this is successful, then try enabling the plugins one by one and testing to re-save a widget each time. Once you identify the conflicting widget you can check the plugin support forum and/or contact the plugin author.

I found out cause of system overload by SAM was causes the following files:
    /home/site/public_html/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    /home/site/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-ads-manager/sam-ajax.php

I did not know where this case from. Upon removal immediately system load dropped. Before that I cant even enter the SAM module.

There seems to be a problem with the links to the pages of this plugin’s WordPress location, but the support forum is still accessible here (https://wordpress.org/tags/simple-ads-manager) and has a reply from one week ago.

Perhaps this plugin been removed from the repository, as it is not listed under the author’s plugin profile: https://profiles.wordpress.org/minimus/#content-plugins

Yep, looks like it was removed. Probably not a good one to use : )!

The latest problem its resource hungry. The moment I open Add Places the load average from 0.1 will escalate to high 100. As a result all updating has to be done with minimal users online. Anybody else experienced this?
