not replacing default gallery tag

    Using a fresh installed v1.6.0 with WP 3.9.1 and left all settings at the default state.

    The CSS and the JS show up in the code, but it does not replace the default [gallery ]-tag, though the checkmark is set. When I change the tag to [slider] there is a bxslider in the post, so that works.

    Did I miss something? How can I turn default gallery-Tags to bxslider gallerys?

    /edit: found out this has to deal with my theme. it works fine with twentyfourteen. I use wordpress-bootstrap theme. Any hints, what could cause the default gallery tag to be ignored with my theme?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay, got really busy lately.

    Maybe your theme already deals with the gallery shortcode and because it initializes after the plugins, it unplugs the modifications done by bxSlider Integration to the default Gallery code. Talk to the theme developer, he will tell you how to disable that.
