not a time countdown plugin, but a price countdown plugin

Looking for help to find a plugin that will allow me to make a page with a price countdown. Like a backwards rolling number in an odometer, that is controlled by date (meaning, if you look at the page tomorrow the number will be lower than yesterday, rather than starting at the original integer).

Basically, I want to sell a product starting on day “X” at “Y: price, and want the price to be deuced by a fixed amount every “n” time (e.g. Starting on January 1st at 1,000.00 and going down ¢1 every 10 seconds).

I see tonnes of timer style countdowns that show year/month/week/day/etc., but none that will just show a number that goes down.

I am confident an existing plugin can be altered to do this but I don’t have the expertise required to do that. Anyone knows of something like what I am looking for that already exists?
