no thumbnail smushed

    There should be 6 image sizes optimized by WP Smush according to SETTINGS. There is no error message, but the plugin only smush FULL size image now. I transferred my server to linode 3 days ago and updated wordpress and theme to the latest version 2 days ago. I don’t know what’s going wrong after doing these. Could you please tell me how to solve this problem? Thank you so much.

    Hey @hannah93135,

    So for all the images only full size is smushed? Can you check if the other image sizes are being created in your uploads folder at all or not?

    You can check that by going to the directory yoursiteaddress/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2016/ in your file manager/ Terminal.

    Hi Umesh,

    Yes, only full size has smushed from 2 or 3 days ago and there is no other image sizes in /uploads/2016/ folder.

    @hannah93135, So for some reason, the other image sizes are not being created by WordPress on your installation. And since the images doesn’t exist, WP Smush can’t really optimise them.

    You need to lookup the cause for other image sizes not being generated.

    Once you’ve figured that out, the Smushing should work perfectly fine for you.
