• Hi,

I am using CloudFlare Flexible SSL to ensure the website loads faster using SPDY however for those lovely users that use outdated systems such as XP will get a certificate error in IE. So I created a function in PHP to detect those users. How can I tell the plugin to just not apply SSL for these particular users?

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

Just to clarify a little for others that may read this post…

The free Universal SSL has browser limitations; our standard SSL on a paid plan does not have these same limitations.

We would generally recommend that site owners consider offering something like A Better Browser to actually encourage users using old browsers to upgrade (makes things safer for the end user & Microsoft is going to kill off XP eventually).
