• Wondering if anyone has experienced an issue we just had which appears to be related to Sydney theme with no header image uploaded. Entire multisite was taken down as WP tried tried to allocate 122251949113576 bytes (an insane amount), which traced back to line 628 of /wp-content/themes/sydney-pro-ii/inc/classes/class-sydney-header.php

Which is just the desktop header, referencing site name, logo and some attributes. It appears not setting a logo causes a loop or some type of memory allocation issue. It was resolved by commenting out that line which got the admin site working, uploading a logo and thats seems to have fixed it.

Hopefully this helps someone else if they are in a similar situation.

  • Hi @andocom,

Thanks for reporting the issue. We’d like to inspect it further to verify the fix for the issue in our theme’s core code. We need additional information to help us quickly address it (if presents); which version of Sydney are you using?

Going further, the mentioned file path indicates you are getting trouble with pro version. If so, please stop asking for help here, as we have dedicated support channel, which the link can be found at the top right of the theme page (https://wordpress.org/themes/sydney/) — just next to the image preview.
