Could you check that this page has a language? Is it link with another translation by the pen icon, instead the plus sign?
Did you set up this page in the Settings > Reading in the “Posts page” option?
Could you provide a link to your site?

Yes, page has language set, it is linked by pen icon, no problem there.
No, I did not set this page as Post page, because I don’t need it as classic post page, it is template of this Story Theme that I use.

btw. when I click on flag to change language I get hompage, instead that same page in different language. This also started to happen after update, earlier was just fine.

I’ve just tried Twenty Fifteen and works fine.
I guess it is due to theme I use, but funny thing is that problem started after polylang update.
It seems to be the same problem as the Avada theme. Polylang 1.8 introduced a conflict with Avada. The Avada team has solved this issue with their 3.9.3 version, but for the moment I don’t how.
Could you report this issue to your theme author too?
