Nothing there. I’ve moved a million of these installs around, but I’ve never encountered this problem before.
Could you simply have had an incomplete database import ? It may happen if your connexion had a glitch halfway, or if your database was large and phpmyadmin sort of halted the operations halfway (I now resort to using the wp-dbmanager plugin, it’s handling 30 MB large databases like nothing, while my mutualized host’s phpmyadmin gave up around 16 MB).
@sabinou This db isn’t even 1mb and my connection is just fine. I’ve tried it multiple times and each time it completes, fully populated, and gives me a successful import message in phpmyadmin.
Ok – so perhaps you could look at some of the more common culprits – plugins and theme?
@esmi I’ve also tried that as well. Switched back to the default theme and disabled all plugins. Still getting hit with this error. Good idea though; never forget the basics.
This isn’t very urgent for me, because it’s just a sandbox install, but I plan on putting it under a microscope later today and will post any findings/resolution.
Did you manage to sort this? I’ve got exactly the same problem – it’s doing me head in!!
