Images do not show up in the blog grid when I create a post, It shows a blank post with only the date. If I click on the blank post that is created, it does show the image I attached on the permalink page.

I’ve tried setting the post style to Media, and Gallery, and neither are working for me. I made a fresh install of WordPress, immediately switched the theme to Fukasawa, and I’ve had this problem from the beginning.

I suppose I should note that I have a different WordPress website installed on this server, but obviously it’s under a different URL.

    Thanks

    EDIT:
RESOLVED! I didn’t know that only the “featured” image shows up in the blog grid. If anyone else is having this problem, make sure you select the same image for the “featured image” as the one you want in the post, and it will appear.

  • I found the same problem. Thank you very much.

The featured image function will not work if you want the post to be in the Gallery or Video style. If you want that, create a new post, and upload the image(s) you want to be on the front page. You must upload the images and not simply add images that are already in your media library. Then hit publish. At that point, you can delete the images that you just put into your post, but they will still remain on the slider on the homepage. Any other images you upload (not just insert from your library) while writing the post will be added to the slider on the front page.
The featured image is only for Standard-type posts.
    Hope this helps
