Hi VBPartners. The images you upload in WordPress are not stored in the database, they are actually stored in your wp-content/uploads folder. What this means is that instead of using phpMyAdmin to migrate your images over, you’ll need to use FTP instead.
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, and is used for transferring files. Filezilla is a very commonly used program for transferring files using FTP, and you can find more information on using Filezilla at How to create a backup using FTP.
Wow… yes, you’re right.. momentary loss of brainpower i guess…
I didnt copy them over and with the domain now pointed to a new hosting company, those files are gone now, right?
not good… 🙁

The fact that you moved to a new hosting company does not mean the images are gone.
Have you canceled the account on your previous host? If you still haven’t canceled your account, then your files should still be there. Contact your previous host and ask for help with connecting via FTP, as they may be able to give you an IP address to use for ftp if your domain is no longer pointing to them.
Did your previous host generate backups for you? If so, they may still have a backup of your files, so you may want to try contacted them.
