• I recently switched to my own domain from wordpress.com, and I’m having troubles with my comments. I’ve set up my theme, which is Free Radicals 1.0 by Free WordPress Themes.
The problem is that for the comments link on each post, it says “no comments” when I DO have comments. When you click on “no comments”, you are taken to the comment thread with all the comments in it. So what is wrong?

My blog is burpandslurp.com if you want to check out this peculiarity yourself…

  • Looks like you have some bad code in /wp-content/themes/freeraidcals/index.php

Search that file for “no comments” and let us know what you find 😉

    Thanks!
    All I have is this: “<?php comments_popup_link(‘No Comments »’, ‘1 Comment »’, ‘% Comments »’); ?>”

That part looks right. Does this theme do any custom queries or weird things like that? Maybe it really thinks there are no comments. You could try changing the No Comments text you found to make sure it’s the right file for the front page.

    Can anybody help? Please?

I actually have a related problem. Only on my pages (not my blog posts) I have duplicate entries of a non-existent comment.

    Check it out here:

This person “Cisco” nor his comment does not show up in my comment box but these comment shows up on all four of my pages.

How do I remove these comments?
