• Whenever a comment is posted, I don’t seem to be recieving an email showing a comment has been posted. I’ve checked and double checked the email address and also made sure the option is ticked in the Dashboard, yet no email is sent.

    What’s causing this to happen?

  • This recently started happening to me (on Saturday, to be exact). I have tried checking, unchecking, saving different options in the Options tab of my control panel, but nothing happens, and I still don’t get my mail, whether it’s a comment being held in moderation or a regular comment.

    Is this a problem with WordPress or my e-mail? I’ve been using WordPress since Jan. 06 and haven’t had any problems with it until this just now.

    Have you checked your email logs?

    This seems to have resolved itself; it just started working again last night.
