okay maybe there was no block within the last hours but i logged in and the dashbaord view for the last 7 days was completely empty, the block lists too. and now if i get a mail with a new block it does not count to the dashboard widget but i get a new entry in the block list

Hi @z3rog, thanks for your questions.
I think you’re right with your point about Blocked IPs not being seen on the Firewall > Blocking page, as these are often controlled by your Rate Limiting and Brute Force settings. If the time limits set under these sections have expired, the IPs won’t show here because they are no longer blocked when you check. When blocking from your Live Traffic page, these time limits still apply. Some blocks the firewall makes automatically are never subject to these timeout periods, but will be caught again by our list of known bad IPs if they revisit your site.
Let me know if you can see recent blocks by visiting your Live Traffic page, and filtering by Blocked and Blocked by firewall. Do these rows seem to tally with the details on your Dashboard? If you feel there’s an issue, you can share screenshots of your Firewall Summary and blocks for the same date range from your Live Traffic by using a service like Snipboard – which also lets you obscure any sensitive data before pasting the links here.

@wfpeter thanks for your reply. the blocks seem all to bes stored. but the dashboard widget do not show all blocks. some blocks are counted and some are not.
