NextGen Pagelines Framework, Admin pages 404

I am currently using the latest versions of WP, PageLines Framework and NextGen.

When I am in the admin, and attempt to “manage” anything in the NextGen area, I get redirected to a 404. The other Gallery Links seem to work fine (Overview, Upgrade to Pro, Gallery settings”)… its only those with “manage” in the title of the link

For example, if I click Galleries -> Manage Gallery, the url that opens is:

http://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=nggallery-manage-gallery
in about 1 second, I am redirected to:

http://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=nggallery-manage-gallery&skipjs[0]=http://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/themes/pagelines/sections/navbar/navbar.js?ver=4.1.1

And the 404 page is displayed.

@mightyaswell – Do you see this if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?

Also, is this the free version of PageLines Framework, or the paid version, as we have not seen a report of a conflict in quite some time between these two pieces of software.

This is the paid version of Page Lines “Framework”.

If I switch to a Twenty* theme the issue does not appear to occur.

@mightyaswell – Hmm … well that would generally point to something within the theme causing the issue. Have you brought this to the PageLines (Pro?) support team?

@photocrati – yes I contacted PL. They suggested I contact you.

this started to happened when I upgraded the plugin from 1.9x to the latest.

Seems like the redirect is run by the NextGen plugin from

../modules/ngglegacy/admin/admin.php

@mightyaswell – Since the issue does not occur with a default WordPress Twenty series theme (which aside from our own themes, we use as our major benchmarks) I would still have to consider this an issue originating in the PageLines theme code.

We’d be happy to help them try to sort out what the issue is if their development team wants to contact us for further assistance.
