[NextGEN Gallery] & [XML Google Maps]

I have set up [XML Google Maps] to load geotagged pictures from my [NextGen Gallery] by using this guide here, and everything works great.

I am wondering if its possible to change the way the geotagged photos display on the google map, instead of showing a picture of the map can I set a pin. Then once you click the pin everything would display normally like as if you had clicked the picture? This way I dont have to upload to Flickr.
