Hi MommaMarcy,
Are you getting a specific error message? Do you have a link where we can see a sign-up form in action to perform some hands-on testing?
Thanks in advance!

Here is the form for people to sign up on the website.
Not sure how or why there is a subscribe button and a sign up button. I have been trying so many different things I am sure I added one of them by mistake, but have no idea how I did that. I some how fixed it and people have told me they signed up, but now I can’t find them anywhere. This is all way to complicated for me.

Hello Marcy,
I can understand the confusion for new users. Please allow me to assist. The link you shared is a link that only logged in users can see, which would be you the administrator of your website.
Instead of going through all the steps at once, I’d like to guide you few steps at a time. I hope that is ok. Firstly, can you please confirm if you have installed and activated the newest version of our plugin and added your MailChimp.com API key?
Hi there,
Yes, I installed everything correctly and entered the key so we are good to go on that.
What’s next?
Marcy
Hello Marcy,
Next step would be to go to “MailChimp for WP > Forms” and in the “Settings” tab, select a list where the form data would be added. Once you save it, go back to the editor to add all the mandatory fields to your form. By default we only add basic fields like email and name, but if you have more fields you would need to add the same.
Once all the fields are added and saved, you can then either add the shortcode [mc4wp_form] to any page/post to show the form or use our widget to add the form to any widget areas in your theme. Please do this and also share a link to the page containing the form so we can test.
