New Text-Expander Plugin

Howdy people,
I just put up for download an early beta of my latest WordPress plugin, named QuickType.

QuickType is a text-expander plugin for the WordPress blog software. It can reduce the amount of typing performed when writing a post by replacing short character combinations with larger phrases that you define. It’s a bit like shorthand for computers.

By creating shortcuts for the phrases you use often, you can reduce the amount of time it takes to write a post, especially when you find yourself constantly writing out the same long phrases. It’s another step to becoming a power blogger!

Example typed post:

I was ;sng around on the ;wp ;ws today, and I found a ;c ;pn called ;qt. It makes you more ;eff by letting you define ;sc for longer ;ph.

The QuickType plugin will expand that post into:

I was searching around on the WordPress website today, and
I found a cool plugin called QuickType.

It makes you more efficient by letting you define shortcuts for longer phases.
