• Hello,

I’m writing to You because I have a problem or new idea.
I would like to create a website based on one database but with a few domains.
I have five students house. I want to build a system by WordPress. I have a one template and database to multiple pages. I want to use single login to manage multiple pages.
I know that it is possible to filter posts by tag, but the pages is not possible.
I installed WPMU, but this tool installs separate databases for separate sites.
Can you write a wordpress plugin or upgrade to such possibilities?

    Ex.
    post with tags home1, home2 …
    and
    page with tags home1, home2 …

when I enter the page home1.domain.com, it shows the entries and pages with tag home1. when I enter the page home2.domain.com, it shows the entries and pages with tag home2. etc..

    How can I do?
    Thank you for your help

tags on Pages are not buolt in, but I think there’s a plugin for that.

No, it uses separate *tables* in one single database for each site. This feature is now built in to 3.0.

    more..
    I have idea.

maybe You could add some code do your wordpress.
ex. new domain is a new blog (now its working) or new domain is a pharser of categories (posts and pages)..

    so
    ex. http://home.adresdomain.com
    1. home is a new blog/wordpress
    2. home is a category of post and pages

    ??

And it possible to add category to pages?

No, Pages are outside any hierarchy.
