New Gallery Posts Not Appearing

    My site uses the Relief theme and I have a photo gallery section with a few dozen posts. The site has been up for over a year with no problems.

    Now suddenly when I create a new post, neither photo galleries nor text appear. I assume this happened because of an update, but I do not have the php knowledge to troubleshoot the issue.

    I tried un-publishing old posts, adding the new gallery to an existing gallery page, using different photos and shortening the url for the new gallery post. Nothing makes the new gallery appear.

    Could this be caused by a database limit on the number of gallery posts?

    Just curious to see if it is a permission issue.. If you click add new page, do you get a Publish button or Submit For Review?

    It says “Publish” for me. My user account is set as administrator. The gallery also shows up properly in the editor, but the actual post is just completely empty.

    Try deactivating your plugins to see if that resolves the issue. If not, leave them off and switch to a default theme (twentyfifteen) to see if the issue still persists.
