• Hi there,

I am setting up a multisite network at rhymeswithforty.com.

I have installed several plugins earlier this week. Today I attempted to install another plugin and discovered that the plugins I had installed previously could not be seen on the list of plugins, nor did I have the options to search or install new ones.

After some reading, I discovered that I had not checked the box under:

SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > MENU SETTINGS > ENABLE ADMINISTRATION MENUS __ plugins

I checked this box and saved.

No discernible changes were made. (I still cannot access/use any of the plugins in my network sites.)

    Please advise.

    Thank you very much.

Are you looking for your plugins in the Network Admin dashboard?

In multisite, plugins that are network activated will not be visible in the individual site dashboards.

You can check to make sure the plugins are still there by FTPing into your hosting account and looking for the wp-content/plugins folder – you should see folders there for each of the plugins that you’ve installed.
