Nice design. I would prefer if the title of the site stood out more. Maybe different/larger fonts or different placement.

Nice themes, clean lines. I agree with the comment about the header doesn’t stand out enough.
I find the header style of this design, refreshing. The whole definition section is part of it as well. It has a text-on-parchment look, which is antithetical to the whole Colorful Blocky Divided-off header that screams “web site”. Giant fonts in comparison to body-text is a modern look. The medium size, flush left text header looks more olde-stylee.
Thanks all. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, but I’ve been out of town since I posted this. 😉 I may make this public at some point, though right now it has a few elements that wouldn’t be easily downloadable (i.e. I modified the WordPress code outside of the template itself).
I’m not really planning on making the header more noticeable, as I kind of wanted it to look like a book. That is, the content is more important than the title of the blog. For the person who spotted that this looks similar to the theme at blogspot, I used to use that theme and decided that I wanted to look different/better, which is why this one came to be.
