I apologize if there is a thread out there that answers this, but I couldn’t find it!

My Hosting is thru GoDaddy and that is where I downloaded WP. I have two completely different websites that I created in Artisteer. The first one is uploaded into WP. Now I need to upload the other one. Apparently I need Multisite, but I need a “Dummies” set of instructions. Please don’t start me in the middle of the process or assume I know where ceratin folders or php files are, because it likely that I don’t. I saw a few posts about adding Multisite, but I had no idea what they were telling me to do.

    Thank you in advance!!

Thanks Tomagig, however as I stated above…I have no idea where to find the PHP file or the .htaccess file (or how to create one if I need to) Also, I don’t know if I need a sub-domain or a sub-directory. I see the definitions, but that still doesn’t help me understand which one I need.

    Thanks for your help!

    Full stop.

If you don’t know how to do that, you’re not ready for Multisite. I’m sorry if that sounded harsh, but you HAVE to know how to use WordPress and manage the core files before you attempt Multisite.

Can you suggest how I should go about maintaining this second site?

All you need to do is login to CPanel, hit the file manager go to public_html. It will show you all the files including .htaccess file. to edit the file, you can use the editor, by simply click the code editor on the top of the page.

Again, I don’t know where that would be. Sorry that I come across as a dummy.

Will someone PLEASE tell me what I need to do to get this 2nd website into WP?

I would make a second, separate, install, frankly.
