need to get thumbnail before posting

Hi,

I use WP 2 Buffer plugin to automatically send tweets to my Buffer queue when publishing a new post. The problem is that when I first publish the post, there is no featured image so WP 2 Buffer doesn’t pick it up to send with the tweet to the Buffer queue. If I do an update, all is well because the thumbnail has already been set for the featured image.

Is there a way to have your plugin set the thumbnail before WP 2 Buffer makes the call to the Buffer api when a post is first published?
