HI,
I installed your plugin. When I change the memory limit on maintenance tab to 64M from 40M. I am getting an error message that “Couldn’t connect to database server!” Can you help.
Tx
Hello Tx,
1. Are you running WordPress over MYSQL Database?
2. Do you use some kind of plugins that connect your WordPress site to another database engine (Sqlite, etc…)?
Its rarely that someone is using Database other than MYSQL so if your answer is NO, please follow the following steps:
1. Click on Database TAB
2. Refresh the page by pressing F5 or CTRL+R
3. Try to save, if the error disappeared then please repeat the same steps but before saving Click on Maintenance TAB and change Memory Limit to the desired value.
Please let me know if you still have problem.
Thanks,
AHMeD
HI,
The problem still persists. My wordpress site is running on MYSQL database. I tried the steps mentioned above but still get the same error and changes on maintenance tab is not saved.
Tx
The issue reported by Cherubabby is because the Plugin doesn’t support Database Connection Port.
This issue has been fixed on version 1.4.1
