• ok, i have a backed up and working .sql file ready to use.

it was running off a earlier build of 1.5 a little before strayhorn. but i want to get my site back up and running again under strayhorn from my existing .sql file.

i finally have phpMyAdmin working now and am able to drop and add tables. i have read some of the other “how-to’s” to do this but i can’t figure it out honestly.

i don’t have all my old files from the beta 1.5 still. i just want a clean install of strayhorn, import my .sql file and be back to the same as before.

can someone please help me figure this out?

  • All you need to do is upload the Strayhorn files, update the wp-config.php file, if necessary (only if your database name, password, or user has changed) and then, using your browser, navigate to http://www.example.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php and run that. Your database will be upgraded, and you will be ready to go.

I am assuming that you still remember/know the login password you used from your previous install.
