I installed the Padhang theme on my personal blog today. I just realized that the option to leave a comment at the bottom of each post is missing on the main page. You can only leave a comment if you go to the individual posts. Is there some way to make each post’s comments visible from the main blog page?

    Here’s my blog, for reference:

I’m getting an error on each page and post at the bottom that says:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/halfhear/public_html/wp-content/themes/padhang/comments.php on line 52

On individual posts there is no option to leave a comment, only the error, unless the Comments Evolved for WordPress plugin is activated. Then it has two comment boxes–one for Facebook and one for Google +. The line 52 error message is also still at the bottom.

I have no clue how to fix it! I tried deactivating all the plugins to see if one was causing the error and had no success.

to attract theme specific suggestions, please post in your theme’s support section at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/padhang/

    hi,

I’m the author of Padhang. I’ve checked your blog and the error. I’ve also checked on wp.org’s live preview of the theme and on my local, nothing goes wrong. Perhaps there’s a conflict from the plugin(s) you used.

If you’ve tried deactivating all of your plugins and still got the error, try to remove and re-install the theme.

    cheers.

    HI Rizqy,
I know it doesn’t relate to this specific thread but I too am having a problem with Padhang. I can’t seem to crop the header or make it any bigger, when I go into the crop & Publish option I get this message: “Image could not be processed. Please go back and try again.”
The image I have created is over 1000px wide yet when it loads onto the page it is resized down. You can see it here: http://www.markgriffithsmusic.co.uk

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One other thing – Is there anyway I can make the large white boxes where the information goes slightly transparent?

    Thanks,
    Mark
