Need help making sidebar “widgetized”

    Aparently the theme I am using on my WP site does not detect widgets and I cannot edit it.

    I went though the steps to redesign the sidebar.php file. However I cannot determine what format the sidebar.php is.

    It looks to me like it is a mix between the format that is built with the <h2> and <div id>.

    I am using macrealm theme and and have not changed anything major yet.

    If anyone can help that would be great.
