Hi… can you provide me with the image ID you’re attempting to embed? Everything seems to be fine on our end, but if we had the image ID, we can help figure this out.

I’ve been trying with many different images of football players but none are working. My editor has been able to embed images into my articles.
This is one of the embed code that didn’t work,
<div class=”getty embed image” style=”background-color:#fff;display:inline-block;font-family:’Helvetica Neue’,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;color:#a7a7a7;font-size:11px;width:100%;max-width:594px;”><div style=”overflow:hidden;position:relative;height:0;padding:63.804714% 0 0 0;width:100%;”><iframe src=”//embed.gettyimages.com/embed/79380999?et=CBdpHQg8STtKecfE6RXdKQ&viewMoreLink=off&sig=6dH8wEhwqggiZHmEwItfs5Fn1oBNC46DkvcthsGFSN4=” width=”594″ height=”379″ scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″ style=”display:inline-block;position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%;height:100%;”></iframe></div><p style=”margin:0;”></p><div style=”padding:0;margin:0 0 0 10px;text-align:left;”>View image | gettyimages.com</div></div>

I still need desperate help with this issue, I’ve put printscreens up on my WordPress.com page below, where embedding is actually working, but it isn’t when I try to put into add a page with a WordPress.org site.
Please see the below link for the printscreens.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi BenC99,
I’m sorry for the delay getting back to you, and I’m sorry this has been a blocking issue for you on your .org site with our embed functionality.
Based on your last message, can you confirm that the behavior is still the same: You can embed our images to your WordPress.com site but not using the plugin on your WordPress.org site?
If you haven’t already done so, you may want to update or try a fresh install of the plugin. Our current version is 2.4.3, so you may need to click Update from your Installed Plugins view in the Dashboard. Let us know if that does the trick.
I thought it’d be worth explaining a bit about embeds in WordPress vs. on gettyimages.com. You probably noticed that the plugin pastes the short URL in Text mode once you click Embed Images into Post. Although the image may take a moment, it will eventually load in Visual mode. But pasting the embed <div> code from our website (as you mention in your comment above) won’t work as smoothly due to limitations within themes and the WordPress environment itself, hence why we made the plugin available for everyone to use.
So hopefully you can update to the latest version of the WordPress.org plugin (or start with a fresh install) to get up and running again with embeds on your .org site.
Please do keep us posted.
Thanks for your feedback and pinging us back.
