WordPress cgenerates its own page (MyBlog)… At first it was the home page for my project The navigation bar pointed to this page on the “Home” menu item no matter what I did..It took a while, but I got WordPress to point to my home page. My home page is a static page. Now the blog page I created is no longer linked in the menu. Even when I edit the page structure I cannot see it. Instead it is the “MyBlog” page that comes up in the preview. I also cannot find the “MyBlog page to edit it, or delete it. HOw can I resolve this problem. This is my first project in WordPress and I am ignorant of most of the nuances in this platform.

Under settings->reading, what are your settings for the home page? What have you designated as your “posts” page as that will be your “blog” page?
The problem with being new is that you don’t have the language to describe problems. I have wordpress 4.94. it creates its own layout6 for t5he blog post pate. In Divi Builder I can create beautiful blog layouts, but as soon as I assign it the blog post page my layout goes away and the wordpress layout appears. How can I fix that??

Under Readings I set my home page as static. I created another page I named “MyBlog”. I assigned this page as post page. As soon as I did that my layout disappeared and the wp generated layout appeared in that page.
