My website is temperamental

Hi,
my new website seems to be quite temperamental. Mainly colours change overnight and some pictures have disappeared for no good reason. I find that a bit worrying because I do not want to have to check my site every day if everything is still in place.

What do others think – is wordpress reliable in general?
