My Posts missing from Dashboard?!

I am new to wordpress and have no idea how it works except for the fact that I was invited to be a contributor to a blog which uses wordpress and I logged in, made my post and it was pending.

Then I was messing around and for some reason now I can’t access MY POSTS or anything like that on the left side of the admin dashbox. I used to be able to edit my post, view it’s status, etc. Now it’s all gone.

I’ve tried to find the solution but I have no idea about plugins or versions or upgrades or anything like that. I don’t have this as a program, I simply go to a URL and log in to my dashboard.

Any ideas?!
