I think UM is a great plugin for user and subscription managment. But now I have a problem since the last update.

I’m setting up a multisite and I’m still in the testing fase. I had UM working fine.

Subscribers are forced to subscribe in one subsite (subdirectory) as a contributor where they will be able to see all content as well in the mainsite (1+1). Then I add them to the main site as a member or else they don’t show up in the memberspage. I’m planning to create lots of subsites where the contributor of one subsite doesn’t have access to all content of other subsites (restrict categories and pages).

Before the update I had it working fine. When a contributor was a contributor in one subsite then in the other subsite he was a member (without listing in the membersdirectory).
But now when they subscribe to one subsite then all subsites handle this contributor as a contributor and so all have access to all content of all subsites.

How can I solve this problem?

(And can you please work on a way to export user data (all info given during subscription+userposts+comments)?)

    Thanks in advance

Is there anyone else who has problems with restricting categories since the last update?
All subscribers can read posts of all categories no matter what role they are assigned to. But when I deny access to a post manually then UM works as expected.

    My (multi)site is http://efarmogi.dimokratia.info/

    Hi,

Apologies for the late reply. Please submit a ticket via our website after the weekend so our developers can look into this. We do not monitor this forum daily.

    Thanks 🙂
