• Hi,

I’ve installed WP 3.0 on my server for one site, call it example1.com. No blog just a vanilla static page website.

Now I want to build another site using WP, call it expample2.com, no blog just a vanilla static page website.

WP codex says I can use MultiSite capabilities with WP 3.0, but when I read up on the manual it seems to infer that both sites would be connected in some way, via the blogs?

example1.com and example2.com have nothing in common with each other. That being the case do I use another installation of WP or do I share a common installation. Can I do it both ways, what are the pros and cons.

    Al Moodie.

  • Using multi site feature you will be using one database and one superadmin that is you and each site you create can have its own log in.

You can use domain mapping plugin so that you have different domain names each website.

In database you will have different tables for each site.
