Multiple Shipping Options

Hello – On one of my customers websites we have multiple shipping options for different products. Some items can be shipped and picked up locally. Others can only be picked up locally. I have set up shipping classes for each of these products. The ones that can be only picked up locally are set that way. However, if there is an item that can be shipped then both items can be shipped. Is there something I am missing? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
