Multiple Posts Pages

On my blog, I have 5 pages – lets call them Home, About, Blog, Work & Contact.

I’m aware of the ability to use the WordPress Reading settings to place all Posts on the Blog page, but what I’d like to do is use the Work page to show posts that have one category (say ‘Work’) and all other categories go into Blog.

Alternatively, any other suggestions? I don’t really want to use Categories instead of Pages…
