    Hi support ! πŸ™‚

Today, again, i need your help ^^

Let me explain you my situation :
I’m trying to put multiple colors, inside one color as hierarchical, you don’t understand ? me too ^^.

Let me show you that with an example :

I have actualy “Colors” attribut, inside it i have colors terms like “Red, Blue, Yellow…” (principal colors). I would like to put “Dark blue, Azur blue…” inside Blue parent color.

By this way, if an use filter inside the shop by Blue color, he can find all Blue colors and his childs.

Can you help me to found a solution for that please ?

    Thanks ! πŸ™‚

  • Hello!

Thanks for contacting us about setting up product variations by color. I do understand what you mean by sorting them hierarchically but it is not possible to do with the core WooCommerce plugin. That would be considered “conditional”, meaning it only shows the blue variations when a parent “blue” product is selected. The closest functionality to this would be to use a filtering plugin to restrict the options displayed on the shop or category page to reduce the options to the “blue” choices first. Another way to do this would be to create the products by color and offer the child colors within that product.

    I hope this helps!
