Hi flickerstudios,
Thanks for reaching out.
I suspect that either your custom post types do not use the content filter of WordPress or that the condition settings are incorrect.
It sounds like you are injecting single ads.
I would suggest that you bundle these ads into a group and assign this group to a placement. This way, you can make sure that only one ad (or if you want to, multiple ads) are played at a time.
In this manual, you will find all forms of rotations that you can implement with Advanced Ads.
Best regards,
Joachim
Hey Joachim,
Thank you for the responding faster.
I will give few situations so you can understand the problem.
There are 100+ posts in my website and 500+ tags. both will be growing more every day.
Each post have one or more tags.
Lets take 3 posts for this situation which have some tags.
Post 1
Tags: Wood
Post 2
Tags: Brick
Post 3
Tags: Wood, Brick
Situation 1
I create just one ad, give a condition saying show it to only on the post tagged with wood. It works perfect shows on Post 1 & 3
Situation 2
I create just one ad, give a condition saying show it to only on the post tagged with Brick. It works perfect shows on Post 2 & 3
This is fine until either one of the tags are active. The problem comes when both the ads are active. Post 3 show both the ads at the same time. I want Post 3 to show any one ad at a time. When there are 10 tags for a post and there are ads condition for all 10 tags the post should not show all 10 ads for 10 tags. It should should pick just one ad randomly.
Is there an option available for this.
Hey
I just put both the ads in a group. Now it shows only one of the 2 ads in Post 3.
Hiu @flickerstudios,
Thanks for your follow-up.
Assigning a group with all ads to this placement is the perfect solution for you.
Just one additional note: If you run multiple placements on different positions, e.g., before post, in content, and after content, and you assign the same group to all those placements, it will happen that the same ad will get injected multiple times. If you need to suppress this, you can comfortably control it by enabling the display only once function provided by Advanced Ads Pro.
Best regards,
Joachim
It is great tip. Thank you.
