MultiMedia Gallery with album functionality

Does anyone know of a single plugin to handle galleries of photos, videos and images. Ideally other files aswell e.g. pdf, excel, word.

Before anyone says NextGen or Lightbox etc, I’ve tried all these. But I want a do-it-all plugin, or something that adds organising capabilities to the built in media library i.e. like NextGen, but for images, videos, and sounds at a minimum. So I can edit, manage and display in folders on my website.

Clearly the built in WP Media Library is what I’m looking for, but there is no way to organize photos etc into folders and it has limited features.

I read time and time again, people have been crying out for at least a couple of years for a decent included media library. Some serious potential for the right programmer 😉

Anyways, I’ve tried a few out. Kaltura (no way to organize files), Cincopa (cannot host the files myself), Gallery 2 (not sure yet, can’t get it to install), Wordtube + NextGen (wordtube has no way to organize files)

Know of anything else out there?
