Moving WP to different directory

    I installed WP to mysite.com/wordpress for testing. Now I have everything the way I want it, and would like to move it to the root of the site. Anything I need to be aware of before I do this?

    You should change your site url in the admin panel before moving, although it would still be available after the move. This should be about it, but it may be necessary to login to your SQL database as well change the ‘home’ field in the table ‘wp_options’ if any plugins are using it (this is left over from old versions of WordPress)
