Moving Navigation to Bottom
-
Hello all, trend is heading down.
Our thumbs aren’t growing, but our screens are.
Is there a good way to move the navigation below on a mobile device?

Hi Vassilkurk, do you have a footer? Also is your website responsive?
Can you post a link to your site as well?
@deereviewer it’s not live, but let’s use my personal portfolio for this as an example. I have a footer on both sites. thegoldenline.club
The positioning of your menu is handled by your theme.
Editing your theme files directly is not advisable, because your changes will be overridden when you update.Have a look at this:
https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/@carike did i mention I am using divibuilder?
Asking for clarification, you want to change the navigation to be in the footer?
You would need to contact the authors directly via their official support channel.
The volunteers on the forums cannot assist you with commercial (premium / paid) products, sorry 🙁@deereviewer nope, I am just trying to relocate it to the bottom of the screen rather than the top. https://medium.com/beautiful-code-smart-design-by-10clouds/ux-trends-for-2019-displays-grow-faster-than-our-thumbs-b9dcb2c3885f Thumbs too Small!

@carike cool! thank you! One more question for you directly. Is it enough for me to go to appearance > themes > duplicate divi and name it divi-child in order to achieve a child theme as you mentioned?
I’m not familiar with your divi builder but should be able to do it through <nav> tag and using CSS positioning.
@deereviewer are you advising that I build out my website, then make a child theme and mess with the nav?
no no, I was just suggesting on what to look for as. Carike suggested, speaking to the divibuilder support channel would be best because it should be handled through their CMS.
@deereviewer oh, ok. Let me understand this. A child theme is to not be updated when a theme has an update. Say the “2017 wordpress theme” has an update, I update the original and not the child so as to not break the website?
Yes but in this case it seems like something that you might be able to do through the divibuilder. Check with their support channel and see. It seems like it’s a minor issue but I’m sure they would have further insight.
