More Fields Plugin – mf_page_type: Post PROBLEM

I have seen this problem raised in this forum so many times and I havent seen an answer, yet all the users of this plugin surely cannot be suffering with this problem – every post has: mf_page_type: Post displayed.
This happens even if custom fields are turned off or not used and I even went into the database to delete …. the 100’s of mf_page_type: Post that are stacking up!

Can anyone please finally try and look into this – I have spent a few days trying but no luck so far.
